It gives us great pleasure to introduce ALMEEZAN PRINTING PRESS as one of the  Offset Printing and Allied Services in Bahrain which was started in the year 2003 to cater to the printing needs of local customers.

Al Meezan Printing Press has its location in the Alwazzan Gardens in the prime area of Sehla, (off Budaiya Highway), Kingdom of Bahrain. It has equipped itself with the latest machineries to cater the printing and allied needs of the customers of the local market of Bahrain as well as its neighbours. The press has a full force of skilled personnel whose main motto is «Customers Satisfaction»; as such the press offers to its valuable customers both qualitative and quantitative jobs at reasonable price having all activities of printing until delivery under one roof.

Brief History:

Mr. Yousuf Ahmed Abdul Aziz Alwazzan in his vision to widen his business world thought of starting a printing press to cater to the printing needs of local customers. His insight towards this goal materialized in the year 2003 by the starting of ALMEEZAN PRINTING PRESS. Thus ALMEEZAN PRINTING PRESS became a sister concern of Alwazzan Group of Companies, a name that is well known in Bahrain.

The name AHMED A.Z. ALWAZZAN & SONS W.L.L. is one of the pioneer names in the business world of Bahrain today. Their business ventures dates back to more than FOUR decades, especially the Eye Care products, being the First License Holder from the Ministry of Health and whose other business interests in Bahrain rests in the fields of Jewellery, Cosmetics, Beauty Products, Printing and Property. The Founder member of the company is late Ahmed Abdul Aziz Alwazzan, who was not only one of the leading businessmen of his times, but also was a major force to create Eye Care awareness in the Bahrain Market. The Company with its diversified activities has an aggregate Annual Turnover of more than 30 Million US Dollars.

Management and staff:

The promoter and proprietor of the company- Mr. Yousuf Ahmed Abdul Aziz Alwazzan is an eminent name at the business horizon. At a very young age, after completing his education he invested in his father’s business. He not only makes himself conversant with business norms but within a short span of time he became the leading player in the business field- now holding the position as “Chairman and Managing Director” of the Alwazzan Group.

OPTICIANS, Jewellery, Beauty salon, Printing Press, Restaurant, Fashion Boutique, and Property are the fine examples of the ventures that tell the stories and effectiveness and skilful entrepreneurship of Mr. Alwazzan. The diversification into multifold shows the versatility of the promoter with a track record of more than 33 years in which he has shown his abilities of prudent business behavior.  

Mr. Yousuf Alwazzan is assisted and supported by a team of professionals - General Manager, Production Managers, Chartered Accountants, Artists, Printers, Proof readers and Marketing personnel. The technical know how is provided by Mr. Ramesh Waghnani - the General Manager, who is having techno commercial experience and Mr. John Kennedy who is a Master in Printing Technology with a vast experience of more than a decade in the said field in the Middle East. The company is assisted by a team of talented staff and artists who are computer professionals with multi lingual knowledge to meet the challenging needs of the local market. 

Activities:

ALMEEZAN PRINTING PRESS is basically a commercial offset printing press. Hence we specialize in printing both  ARABIC AND ENGLISH -Flyers, Brochures, Magazines, Souvenirs, Menu cards, Bill Books, Letter Heads, CD covers, Business cards, Invitation cards, Files, Calendars and Planners of all varieties, Diaries, Text books, Computer Stationery and many more................... Towards the easy execution of the above jobs we are equipped with the following departments.

Pre press:

To achieve highest quality and outstanding reproduction of photography, graphics and text, we have installed computers, printers, color separation scanners, image setting equipments at the cutting edge of the available technology, with latest electronic hardware, software and other peripherals. High quality films are produced in the image setter and we recently installed a CTP machine by which offset plates are made direct from computer to plate which enables as to a very fast production arena.   

Process section:

In the process section plate exposing and developing machines are installed.  Imposition, layouts, touching and re-touching works of films are done with at most precision.

Offset printing machineries:

Our core printing machines produce enormous volume of printed sheets at high speed with consistent quality. We have the latest machineries installed to achieve perfect printing and registration of color throughout the print run. We have also installed machines to facilitate digital printing of signs. Our screen printing section serves the need of printing on T- Shirts, Caps, Cups and Novelty items of all kinds.
